Garash Cake Festival

Eighteen amateur confectioners took part in the first "Garash" cake festival in Ruse. According to research by historians, the Garash cake was created in Ruse - in the city known as "Little Vienna". The sweet temptation was born in the 90s of the 18th century from the culinary skills of Kosta Garaš, who referred to the recipe for the Viennese Sacher cake.

Mogoșoaia Palace is located about 10 kilometers from Bucharest, Romania. It was built between 1698–1702 by Constantin Brunkovianu in the so-called Romanian Renaissance or Brncovenesque style. The palace is named after the widow of the Romanian boyar Mogos, who owns the land on which it was built.
